This logo was created a website that featured thoughts and opinions on music, movies, sports, and video games. Even though the site no longer is up, I still like the imagery used in this logo because it serves a purpose. Most people read "jarred" as "Jared" (like the Subway guy's name) until they see the logo.

I see a key aspect of this logo as the inverted white text on the black background. Most logos are designed for viewing on white, or at least light, colored backgrounds. This difference immediately makes it stand out. Additionally, it helps to showcase the jar by highlighting the edges and curves of the glass. This makes it more dimensional which makes the "logic" really seem to be contained within.
